Was watching “egg activity” last night — now NO video is coming up this AM. Wahhhhhhhh … was pretty excited to see all of this. Any idea what’s going on? Thanks.

I am having a ton of fun watching and not so patiently waiting for them to hatch! I have a question though.

I did some searching about this process (Seriously, i became amazed over this) and all the websites I found stated it was okay to remove the lid in the first weeks and turning them so often, etc etc. But they all stated that last few days before and during hatching it is important not to remove the lid, as it wicks the moisture out of the shell, making them too hard for the chicks to break through. Most of the sites were for general info on fowls and poultry not specific to chicks. Just wondering if they have different hatching techniques among different species of eggs?

I think this is a great project for a parent to do with this children! I can’t wait to see them!

Are you kids glued to the incubator? I would be and I’m not even a kid anymore! (well, maybe at heart) πŸ™‚
