Meet the egg formerly known as ‘#1’

Deliah has named him ‘Smartie’… we have explained the risk of getting attached to an egg that has not yet hatched (don’t count your chickens before they hatch!), but she wanted to name him/her anyway.

Hannah here:

This is egg #1. My sister wants to name him Smartie. When we weighed him last week he weighed 80 grams. I think he will be extra fluffy because he is a big egg. He is a darker brown egg and he is a very big egg.

    Hi Hannah!

I love reading about your egg experiment. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic! I had no idea you could see so much just by holding the egg up to a flashlight. Great opportunity for your girls to learn about the origins of life (chicken life at least).

    Hi Hannah,

are all of the eggs brown? And can you still have
    the AC on?

    keep up the good work!

    • Hannah here:

      Hi Anja,

thank you for coming to read my website.

We have 16 eggs left. 2 of them are blue! We have AC in our bedrooms but not in the living room and dining room.

see you next week at play!
